I am a Research Scientist at DeepMind in London, UK.
Previously, I was a postdoc in the computational neuroscience group of Xiao-Jing Wang at the Center for Neural Science, NYU. My research focused on large-scale cortical dynamics and the neural circuit mechanisms underlying cognitive functions, with a special interest in how advances in deep learning, particularly recurrent neural networks, can provide insights into biological neural networks.
For my PhD, I studied theoretical condensed matter physics, investigating the application of quantum information theory to the study of extended quantum systems with many degrees of freedom.
