AI 2000 Scholar

The AI 2000 Scholar will name 2,000 of the world's top-cited research scholars from the fields of artificial intelligence over the ten years (2020–2029). For each author, the citation only and other in-domain three metrics--credit, new star and CSRankings--are calculated based on his or her publication record as well as the citations it collected. Citation Only: the total citation count of the papers published in the top venues of a domain.Credit:the credit is proposed to model the unique contribution of each author on a publication. it is designed to distribute credits to authors based on the order of the author list. In particular, we regard the last author of a publication as the corresponding author and the corresponding author has the same contribution as the second author. In other words, given a publication with C citations collected, the credit to the k-th author is proportional to his or her order among the n authors.New star: the new star is proposed to mine new star scholars. The difference from credit is that the author's contribution decreases with the increase of the author's order. The CSRankings Metric:it is the adjusted counts measure, where the credit of each publication is evenly distributed to all authors of one publication.

Top 500 AI Innovative Cities in the World

Top 500 AI Innovative Cities in the World aim to evaluate the innovation levels of cities worldwide in the field of artificial intelligence through an innovation index. This index encompasses four dimensions: papers, scholars, institutions, and international collaboration. Papers: This dimension mainly assesses the quantity and citation frequency of papers. Scholars: This dimension mainly assesses the number of scholars and their research citation frequency. Institutions: This dimension mainly assesses the number of research institutions and the citation frequency of their research. International Collaboration: This dimension mainly assesses the number of collaborations with other cities worldwide. By integrating the above four dimensions, we can calculate the innovation index of a city. This index assigns different weights to each dimension based on their importance, for example, the weights of papers, scholars, and institutions are 0.3, while the weight of international collaboration is 0.1. In this way, we can obtain a comprehensive index reflecting the city's innovation level in the field of artificial intelligence.
