She has produced more than 120 publications in international scientific journals and conferences, most of which are indexed in the major databases (Scopus, Web of Science). She has participated in several national and international seminars and conferences as presenting author, reviewer of articles, scientific committee member, chair and main organizer of sessions/minisymposia. She has served as peer-reviewer for more than 40 indexed international journals (mostly Elsevier, Springer and Taylor & Francis), as associate editor and co-founder of the International Journal of Earthquake and Impact Engineering, as editorial board member of 8 international journals. From 2013, she is an expert peer reviewer included in the Register of Expert Peer Reviewers for Italian Scientific Evaluation (REPRISE), and has assessed several research projects (FIRB, VQR, PRIN, PICA, COVID-19, Rita Levi Montalcini projects), Area ERC: PE8. She is also a member of the Registers of Expert Peer Reviewers for research proposals by the European Commission and the National Centre of Scientific and Technical Evaluation (NCSTE) form Kazakhstan. She has a very good knowledge of the English language, attested by the “Advanced Certificate in English” (C1 Level) issued by The British School.
She has been a coordinator of operational teams for the damage evaluation and assessment on private buildings and cultural heritage structures (mainly churches) during the emergency phases after all the recent Italian earthquakes. Her main research field is the seismic vulnerability and innovative strengthening interventions of masonry structures, whether ordinary, monumental or ecclesiastical, with particular reference to the modelling of out-of-plane failure modes.
