摘要
State-of-the-art inverters and motors can operate with modulation frequencies above 1kHz. Commercial AC electronic loads unable to sink current at such high frequencies. Manually connecting and disconnecting an array of high-power resistors is time-consuming and error-prone. In this work, an electronically controlled multi-phase high-power resistive load bank is presented, which allows users to perform automated dynamic load sweeps safely and efficiently. Implementation details regarding reliability, signal integrity, and user friendliness are discussed. A fully functional hardware prototype with 18 resistors capable of handling up to $500 \mathrm{~V}, 90 \mathrm{~A}$, and three phases was built, and the functionality verified with one resistor at rated voltage and current.
