摘要
Assessed blood/injury phobia and the affecting situations of nursing students. This descriptive study was conducted between September and December 2020, involving 289 nursing students. Data were collected using the prepared questionnaire and the Multidimensional Blood/Injury Phobia Inventory (MCPI). Number, percentage, mean, standard deviation, quartiles, Mann–Whitney U, and Kruskal–Wallis tests were used to evaluate the data. The mean score of students in the MDCI was 56 ± 19.03, having a low level of blood injury phobia. A significant difference was found between students who say they are interfering with someone with a phobia of blood, injury, and others and those who say they feel fear when injecting themselves or others (p < 0.05). In contrast, other variables were not significantly different in the scale’s total score. Before choosing nursing, the candidates must pass various tests and guide those with this type of phobia.
