摘要
In recent years, the utilization of multilayer thin plate aluminum alloy has become increasingly prevalent in battery connection pieces and electrode pole columns. However, challenges persist in achieving successful multilayer thin plate connections, primarily due to welding deformation, porosity, and other defects. In this study, the single laser welding and ARM laser welding experiments were carried out on multilayer thin sheet 5052 aluminum alloys. Through the process optimization, a weld with small deformation, good shape, and relatively high tensile strength was obtained. The results illustrated that ARM laser welding demonstrated superior weld formation and significantly reduced welding deformation. The high-speed camera observed that for single laser welding, there were pores in the middle and rear part of the weld, while ARM laser welding was more stable overall. Furthermore, the average size of equiaxed grains in the center of the weld for ARM laser welding measured 38.6 μm, representing a 12.7
