摘要
Continuous generating grinding (CGG) is a widely utilized finishing process in the mass production of gears. However, due to the high grinding speed and material removal rate, a significant amount of heat is generated during the process. To optimize this process, the development of a highly accurate simulation shows great promise. The simulation involves three key steps: kinematic analysis, removal analysis, and performance analysis. By calculating and comparing surface temperature and grinding resistance with data obtained from a CGG experiment conducted under identical grinding conditions, it is evident that the simulation exhibits a commendable level of accuracy.
