摘要
This study investigated the manufacturing process and performance of bimetallic plates made from TA1 pure titanium and 6061 aluminum alloy using explosive welding. The quality and performance of the plates were evaluated through microstructure and mechanical property analysis. The microstructure, elemental distribution, and phase analysis of the interface were examined using OM, SEM, EDS, and EBSD. Mechanical properties were determined through experimental measurements, including hardness tests, tensile tests, shear tests and bond tests. The results demonstrated that TA1 pure titanium and 6061 aluminum alloy could be effectively combined through explosive welding. The interface hardness value of the bimetallic plate was highest at 204 HV on the TA1 side and lowest at 128 HV near the 6061 aluminum alloy side, owing to the explosion hardening effect. The microhardness at the interface was significantly higher than that of the base materials as received. The maximum tensile strength of 6061 aluminum alloy after explosive welding was approximately 369 MPa, with a decrease in elongation to 8%. The average shear strength of the TA1/6061 composite plate was 102 MPa, and the average bonding strength was 70 MPa, indicating successful bonding between the two metals.
