A Novel Model Predictive Voltage Control for PMSM with Lower Parameter Dependency

To reduce the inaccuracy in voltage vector selection caused by prediction errors resulting from parameters mismatching in permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM), a novel model predictive voltage control (MPVC) for PMSM with lower parameter dependency (MPVC-LPD) methodology is proposed. First, an incremental model-based predictive model is proposed to remove the ramification stemming from flux-linkage mismatch, and a novel controller is designed to remove the negative ramification of the inductance mismatch. Ultimately, the reference voltage is compensation in real time without the need for motor parameters and the exact optimal voltage vector is selected. Subsequently, the validation of the effectiveness of the methodology is achieved through its meticulous analysis on the Matlab-Simulink.
