摘要
OBJECTIVES To describe the profile of the Clinical Practice Instructors, to get an overview of the work time of Clinical Practice Instructors, and to compare the rational suitability of the Radiographic Clinical Practice Instructors in the Hospital Radiology service which became the field of student practice. MATERIALS & METHODS The study design used a mix-method with descriptive cross-sectional data collection, involving a limited sample of 30 Clinical Practice Instructors as respondents from 8 Radiology service locations of Indonesian teaching hospitals. Research data were obtained using questionnaires, documentation. RESULTS Available Working Time for Clinical Practice Instructors is 2,007.4 SW indicating that each radiology examination requires 19,977.09 patients/year, while the Standard Allowance for Radiography clinical instructors in practice is 0.06. The calculated CPIN shows that each clinical practice location in 8 National Teaching Hospitals requires the procurement of a nominal of 10 Clinical Instructors (Radiographers). The difference between the nominal procurement and the actual availability of clinical instructors is 65% or the need for each hospital is between 3-4 additional personnel (35%). CONCLUSION The need for Clinical Practice Instructors (CPIN) in the field of Radiology Diagnostics, using the WISN method, it was explained that the 8 National teaching hospital sites require the procurement of 10 Radiography Clinical Practice Instructors. The gap between the nominal number and the actual need for clinical instructors is about 3-4 personnels. This information can be used as one of the considerations in planning the procurement of resources for Clinical Practice Instructors.
