Global healthcare cloud computing is projected to be tenfold by the year 2025. This cost-effective solution provides scalability and flexibility, which enhances the decision-driven process of the industry. Given the current pandemic crisis, the issues pertaining to building a self-sufficient healthcare system became sharp; but cloud computing's potential is high enough to overcome them. It was observed that the shift to consumerism in 2012 evolved the already existing cloud used in healthcare since the fluctuations in demand and supply evolved to stable demand for cloud. This paper focuses on providing in-depth insight and analysis of the past, the present, and future of cloud computing in the field of healthcare, along with an analysis of the recent trends. Cloud computing when integrated completely with healthcare can create an IT ecosystem that united all stakeholders with technology, which is why it's vital to examine this trend critically.
