摘要
Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death worldwide. The highest incidence is observed in patients older than 65 years, however, it also develops in younger patients. In fact, several studies suggest that the characteristics of lung cancer differ according to age, even describing it as an independent disease. Therefore, the aim of this study was to analyze the clinical and genetic characteristics of subjects under 50 years of age with lung cancer diagnosed in Spain and to compare them with those of subjects aged 50 years and older.
