Device Information and Kernel Specialization

Abstract Chapter 12 explores how to write SYCL applications that adapt to the devices present at runtime and how to define kernels that are specialized for execution on specific devices. Adaptation and specialization are optional, but these techniques can enable applications to achieve higher performance levels with minimal impact on portability and programmer productivity.
