摘要
This article focuses on the influence of the propulsion mechanism design on the transient and steady-state response of the yoke–bell–clapper system with a proportional–integral controller. The analysis is made using the mathematical model validated in our previous paper. Three different propulsion system designs are considered. Analyzed cases are compared and assessed, taking into account the launching time of the system, additional loads in the supports, and final steady-state response. The subject of the analysis contributes to the topic devoted to the dynamic interaction between the bells and their supporting structures that is recently widely considered by the scientific community.
