The future of composite materials is expected to be very bright. Composite materials are becoming increasingly popular due to their many advantages, such as being lightweight, strong, and corrosion-resistant. Their use in the aerospace and automotive industries will only continue to grow as technology advances and new applications are developed. In this view, a lot of work has been proposed by the researcher. It was identified from the literature that Kevlar, basalt and carbon fibre are incorporated individually to enhance the impact strength and reduce the effect of acidity nature and thermal conductivity respectively, But a hybrid composite of Kevlar, basalt and carbon is not introduced yet. In the present study, a hybrid composite of kevlar, basalt and carbon fibre is fabricated with the help of the vacuum method. The fabricated hybrid composite has higher tensile strength, compressive strength, hardness, corrosive resistance, low water absorption capacity, etc compared to the bare composite. The fabricated composite is light in weight so it can be used in various applications like defence, aerospace, etc. The strength of hybrid composite further can be improved by changing the woven structure of the bare fiber.
