Construction of Automation Experiment Teachers Team under the Background of “New Engineering”

Analyzes the problems existing in the experimental teaching team under the background of “New Engineering”, that is, the team structure is unreasonable, the training system is not sound, and the scientific research team is lack of support. This paper analyzes the characteristics of new engineering majors related to automation, then introduces in detail the implementation methods and strategies of 'Selection, Induction, Growth, Mature, About to Retire (SIGMPR), in the whole process of teachers' growth, and emphasizes the importance of guiding, educating, using, promoting and protection in the selection, entry training, steady growth, mature breakthrough. A comprehensive construction and training plan of 'professional, scientific research and comprehensive quality’ for the experimental teacher team is put forward, which provides an effective and implementable method for the team construction.
