摘要
Over the last decade, electric vehicles (EVs) are becoming more and more widespread, and enormous growth is expected in the coming years. This paper aims to analyze the impact of ultrafast Charging Stations (CSs) on distribution grids, analyzing as a case study a parking area with six ultrafast 500 kW EV CSs in Terni, in the center of Italy. Using Italian scenarios for the diffusion of EVs and data collected from the open-access database ACN-Data, load demand is estimated, including EVs, from 2020 to 2030. EV CSs significantly increase the power supplied by the primary substation (PSs) and cause low-voltage lines overload, whereas voltage profiles are always acceptable. The role of local distributed generation plants equipped with storage is investigated, showing a beneficial effect in terms of self-consumption of the EV parking area.
