摘要

•3D numerical analysis of a photovoltaic thermal bi-fluid using dual exchangers cooling with Al2O3–water nanofluid.•Water and air outlet temperatures increase with increasing nanofluid concentrations.•Temperature rises for water and air are respectively 12.44 K and 14.13 K at 1 % Al2O3 concentration.•The highest thermal efficiency of PV unit (63.28 %) was achieved by 1 % Al2O3 concentration.
