摘要
A comprehensive 14-period study was conducted to model the energy system of a residential area. The study aimed to compare actual energy consumption patterns with simulation results and evaluate potential energy savings. Various scenarios were explored, including strategies to reduce heating and cooling demand, implement efficient lighting, and improve insulation. The simulation results revealed that the residential area's current energy consumption amounted to 8.184 GWh of gas and 5.72 GWh of electricity over the 14 cycles. However, implementing the proposed scenarios could result in significant reductions in total energy consumption. The study highlighted the remarkable potential of waste heat recovery, showing that it could lead to a 26% reduction in the system's energy requirements. Additionally, adopting efficient lighting systems could achieve an impressive 40% reduction in electricity consumption. Overall, the study emphasized that energy-efficient measures, such as waste heat recovery, efficient lighting, and insulation, can contribute to a more sustainable and efficient residential energy system.
