摘要
A new type of linear resolver (L-Resolver) as a linear position sensor is proposed in this article, where the field and signal windings are located on the mover and stator, respectively. The mover is structured in a modular style, and its stator is built in teeth/slot configuration. A flexible magnetic equivalent circuit (MEC) is used for modeling, thanks to its better flexibility and shorter processing time than the finite element method (FEM). The resolver in initial and improved structures is studied. Two additional iron parts are considered on both sides of the mover to reduce the end-effect. Moreover, the double-side structure is proposed to decrease the sensitivity of the air-gap asymmetry fault. Hence, a robust resolver with improved accuracy is proposed in the article. Analyses performed on the proposed sensor show its acceptable accuracy as an absolute linear position sensor. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed resolver is proven by experimental results.
