Research on the Monochromatic Soft X-Rays Radiation Facility Using CCD

In the twenty-first century, countries are competing to research and launch various astronomical satellites to explore the mysteries of the universe. In order to realize the inversion from observed data to real astronomical phenomena, there is an urgent need for ground calibration of X-rays on board detectors of various astronomical satellites in China. We have built a monochromatic soft X-rays radiation facility based on grating diffraction, which includes a windowless and multitarget X-rays machine, a non-harmonic grating monochromator, a soft X-rays detector and a vacuum cavity. The soft X-rays detector used here is a CCD. The different performances of the facility were researched and analyzed using CCD. The experimental results show that the facility has a spot size of 168.22 mm 2 and a maximum count rate of $2.01^{\ast} 10^{7}$ cps when the energy is 584.47 eV. This research result can provide data support for subsequent detector calibration.
