Optimal Tuning of PID Controller Parameters for HVAC System Using BF-PSO Algorithm

摘要
This work presents a hybrid- particle swarm optimization (HPSO) algorithm for optimal tuning of the traditional PID controller to control the temperature of the heat ventilation & air-conditioning(HVAC) system. HPSO algorithm is a combine form of BFO and PSO. This method compares with the transient performance analysis of the control process of the Ziegler-Nichols (Z-N) method. In the simulation results, BF-PSO algorithm provides satisfactory performance than the conventional Z-N method in terms of the % overshoot and settling time.
