摘要
At present, interest in energy efficiency and the reduction of polluting emissions has led to the adoption of cleaner and more efficient technologies in the transportation sector. One such technology is hybrid vehicles, which combine an internal combustion engine with another propulsion technology to reduce fuel consumption and pollutant gas emissions. Within the various energy efficiency strategies used in hybrid vehicles, braking energy regeneration is one of the most remarkable. This technology makes it possible to recover the kinetic energy dissipated during braking and convert it into electrical energy that can then be used to propel the vehicle. In this article, the importance of braking energy regeneration in hybrid vehicles is analyzed, and the results of two simulated speed profiles in the hydraulic system are presented. These results are reflected in the comparison of the torques and power required by the vehicle for the drive stages, which results in a reduction of the direct contribution of the prime mover.
