Chemical Lab Safety Education by Massive Open Online Course

In this article, we establish a new vision of the importanceofteaching laboratory safety, whereas some past views of safety educationfade away. Here, we present an approach to teaching this importantsubject as an independent course by Massive Open Online Course (MOOC).In this article, we introduce the advantages of safety education byMOOC, the construction and content of the MOOC "Safetyin the Chemical Laboratory", and the practices forsafety education through MOOC resources in colleges and universitiesin mainland China.
