摘要
The sensitivity matrix of a ring electrostatic sensor (ES) array for gas–solid flow pattern detection presents a significant decrease and poor uniformity at the center of the pipe. To improve the uniformity of the sensitivity matrix, a ring-rod electrostatic array sensor is proposed. First, the structure of the ring-rod array sensor is proposed, with the influence of the number of ring-rod electrodes in the array on the average and uniformity error of sensitivity being analyzed. Second, the ring-rod array and ring array in gas–solid flow detection were both simulated, and the influencing factors on their performances were studied. Finally, an experimental platform was set up to evaluate their performance for detecting gas–solid flow patterns under different conditions. Results show that the sensitivity matrix of the ring-rod array ES is more uniform, with its sensitivity error being small, and it shows better potential for detecting the gas–solid flow patterns.
