摘要
This paper presents the simulation in Simulink of the speed control of a three-phase induction motor using vector control technique specifically field oriented control (FOC), which makes use of the feedback of the speed and phase currents of the motor, the control processes this data and generates the pulses that command the activation of the switching devices of the three-phase inverter, which is in charge of supplying the power to the motor to obtain the desired speed. The control block is tuned based on the parameters of a 5 HP motor that is chosen from the simulink library, each of the steps is detailed and the entire process is illustrated to reach the final result. The system is tested to reach two different speeds and the simulation results show how this control works properly controlling the speed of rotation of the motor after having been tuned with the parameters corresponding to the motor model.
