摘要
Provides an introduction to this section of the book focused on enhancing stakeholder engagement, collaboration, and family-school-community partnerships in school mental health (SMH). Ideas and strategies from eight chapters in this section are discussed with connections to two overarching themes of Systems Analysis and Change, and Developing Communities of Practice/Learning Collaboratives. Chapters in this section are written by leaders in the field from a range of relevant disciplines and include topics of advancing evaluation and research on family–school–community collaboration, student leadership, building interprofessional social capital, advancing SMH learning communities, leveraging community–university partnerships, leading systems change for students with autism, and developing an educational system of care emphasizing cultural competence/humility. Emphasis is placed on diverse stakeholder engagement (e.g., teachers, administrators, counselors, clinicians, families, youth) in advancing effective SMH, and ideas are presented for building relevant research and policy agendas.
