Competences of University Teaching Staff to Use New Learning and Evaluation Resources

Any academic environment is identified as an environment of uncertainty to which we have to respond. The academic environment under study to which we have applied this innovation project has been in the Degree in Computer Engineering involving students and teachers from different subjects, establishing a culture of experimentation and innovation, testing new ideas, seeking to respond to uncertainty. We have tried to identify the conditions of the teaching scenario to deal with uncertainty, change. We consider it necessary to enhance communication between students and teachers and without a doubt it is influenced by the type of leadership of the teacher. We have identified new challenges that are associated with new teaching skills and for this university teaching staff must be updated, trained in new skills.
