Relationship of the Socioeconomic Conditions with the Emotional Well-Being of the Students of the Tecnológico Nacional de México Campus Tijuana: An Analysis Using Data Mining.

The present work seeks to analyze the relationship that exists between aspects of the social and family environment with the emotional well-being of the students of the Tecnologico Nacional de Mexico campus Instituto Tecnologico de Tijuana. During the period 2013-2019, a descriptive level field investigation is carried out. A non-probabilistic sampling of intentional type is carried out, where a questionnaire-type instrument was applied to a population of 768 students of the tutoring program to obtain the necessary information and focus the object of study on the satisfaction that the student presents about the chosen career. Decision trees are elaborated through data mining and the results show that the importance that the family gives it and the fact that the costs of studying are assumed by the parents tend to be related to greater student satisfaction with their studies, while having a sexually active life is an important aspect, since the evidence shows that these students would feel less insecure, but on the other hand, they would show greater dissatisfaction with the chosen career.
