Dynamic analysis of coupled piezoelectric motivator system with flexible connections

•A dynamic model of CPMS including straight and curved vibrators with flexible connections is developed.•Accurate prediction of dynamic responses under moving loads with arbitrary modes is achieved.•The transient displacement responses are visualized for the double-spring system stiffness, different load velocities and spans.•Influences of geometric parameters and thermoelectric effect under moving loads are revealed.
