Mechanical modeling and design of YSZ ceramic coated piston for effective performance in an IC Engine

Inward ignition engines are set up as the power flashpoint for automobile vehicles. At present outflow standards become severe for any IC Engine. Several methods are utilized to track down the different efficiencies, for example, changing the ignition chamber calculations, cylinder crown changes, change in gulf complex, changing the strain of admission air and utilizing reactant convertors. The current work examine about the impact of three pistons (standard, modified and coated piston) were experimented on and their performance were checked with Diesel at constant engine speed 1500 rpm were tested on were experimented on computerized 4-stroke, single-cylinder. The experimental result shows that both modified and YSZ coated piston increased the brake thermal efficiency 2.2% and 3.2% as compared to standard engine. On the other hand, Mechanical efficiency however of the modified pistons increased on low load and decreased on high load. On comparing the results, it was found that both modified and YSZ coated piston increased the brake thermal efficiency and indicated thermal efficiency. On comparison the performance of YSZ coated piston was the highest. Mechanical efficiency however of the modified pistons increased on low load and decreased on high load.
