Fusion Handover Algorithm Based on Accuracy Estimation

In order to meet the requirements of user equipment for seamless positioning and high-precision positioning, a fusion positioning algorithm based on heterogeneous systems has been proposed. In a heterogeneous positioning network, hard fusion positioning and soft fusion positioning can be used to perform fusion positioning on various positioning networks, so as to achieve the functions of expanding coverage and improving positioning accuracy. However, in each positioning process, the fusion positioning method with better positioning results is not fixed. Sometimes the soft fusion positioning may have better accuracy, and sometimes the hard fusion positioning has better positioning performance. During the positioning process, the device cannot determine whether the result of hard fusion positioning or soft fusion positioning is better in this positioning. In order to solve the problem that the positioning error is large due to the wrong positioning method, this paper proposes a switching algorithm for soft fusion positioning and hard fusion positioning. After simulation verification, the algorithm can effectively improve the accuracy of positioning.
