摘要
Twenty percent of youth worldwide have a mental disorder. Among those youth, 80% to 90% do not receive the care they need, and in India, only 1% receive the needed care. Insufficiently trained professionals partly underlie this care gap. Teachers may be trained to deliver care with impact. A single-arm pilot study investigated whether the implementation of a pilot trial of Tealeaf-Mansik Swastha (Teachers Leading the Frontlines – Mental Health; “Tealeaf”) was associated with improvements in child mental health and academic outcomes in Darjeeling, India.
