A two-tier demand response scheduling strategy based on users’ equipment level

Demand response (DR) can effectively improve the stability of electrical power systems. The construction of an energy network reaches the state sensing of user electricity equipment, which provides the row data support for DR. Therefore, a two-layer DR scheduling strategy based on user equipment level is proposed. The strategy can be used in different scenes which contain the difference of subjective response willingness of residential users and the uncertainty of electricity adjustment of different equipment. There are two parts to the strategy which are the upper layer that is the equipment level DR scheduling and the lower layer that is the feedback of customer satisfaction. The upper layer and lower layer are interrelated and mutually constrained. After analysis and simulation, it shows that the strategy can improve the efficiency of customers’ electricity consumption, guarantee the safe and economic operation of the power system, and enhance the competitive vitality of the power market.
