摘要
The pandemic, in addition to other changes, caused a sudden and involuntary transfer to online learning for the studies that were not prepared or intended to be delivered in this way. The transition was particularly difficult for the subjects, which rely heavily on hands-on learning, including, but not limited to, engineering, where laboratory work and projects are a substantial part of the studies. However, valuable lessons were learned by the higher education institutions during this period, especially from the students' experience, who have study experience by studying both online and face-to-face, and can compare the different modes of learning. Positive and negative aspects of the online learning experience were identified and considered valuable insights for higher education institutions in developing a study experience that best serves future engineers.
