摘要
This paper proposes a minimum phase multi-output hybrid bipolar converter (MP-HBC) and discusses four different operational strategies for the maximum power point tracking (MPPT) operation using MP-HBC. To design MP-HBC, the Cúk and SEPIC converters are modified and integrated using six MOSFET switches to achieve bipolar dc (inverted and non-inverted) and ac outputs along with minimum phase characteristics. The advantages of proposed MP-HBC are: it has higher bandwidth with improved phase margin, it can operate at high load current, it has continuous input and output current, and it can achieves buck-boost operations. Therefore, the proposed MP-HBC facilitates the MPPT operation with better transient performance. Further, the MPPT operation is performed in four different modes using MP-HBC, and the PV power is controlled by controlling duty ratio $D$ and modulation indices $m_{\mathrm{a}}$ . PSIM simulation platform and a laboratory prototype are used for the verification of the proposed concept.
