摘要
Abstract The geometric literacy skills of junior high school students in Central Java still need serious attention. Facing the 4.0 era, prospective teachers’ mathematical literacy skills in the field of geometry need to be well prepared. The purpose of this study was to reveal the geometric literacy skills of prospective mathematics teachers in developing teaching materials through authentic assessment. This is a qualitative research with a case study method. The research subjects were prospective mathematics teacher students at the Muhammadiyah University of Purwokerto, Central Java, Indonesia, who contracted the 2019/2020 teaching material development course. The research subjects were selected purposively from the best 4 groups (G1-G4) from 9 working groups. Data were collected through open questionnaires, portfolios, observations and analyzed using inductive, interactive methods, simultaneously then described and explored. The results show that G1 and G2 explore the concept of reflection and right triangles contextually and scientifically through discovery, G3 explores cube nets contextually and scientifically through inquiry, while G4 explores the position of points on the Cartesian digram contextually and scientific problem through bassed learning.
