摘要
With the deepening of organizational behavior research, the researchers are no longer committed to improve efficiency by optimizing organizational hierarchy structure, but begin to focus on positive emotions. Based on the emotional contagion theory, this paper analyzes the effects of time pressure (high/low), emotional intelligence (high/low), and emotional state (positive/negative) on employees’ job engagement. A 2 × 2 scenario simulation experiment was conducted on 241 employees of logistics enterprises. The experiment result shows that: Time pressure has a significant impact on employees’ emotions, which is negatively correlated with employees’ positive emotions; Emotional intelligence has a significant impact on employees’ emotions. Meanwhile, leaders with high emotional intelligence activate employees’ positive emotions more than those with low emotional intelligence; The interaction impact between time pressure and emotional intelligence is significant, leaders with high emotional intelligence stimulate positive emotions more than negative emotions under high time pressure. Finally, the theoretical and practical significance and the future research direction are proposed.KeywordsTime pressureEmotional intelligenceEmotional contagionLogistics enterprises
