摘要
This paper provides experimental results from a reconfigurable megawatt scale virtual motor power Hardware-in -the-Loop (PHIL) system. The virtual motor is operated on a modular multilevel converter (MMC) based power amplifier, with the motor model running in the Real Time Simulator (RTS). Therefore, this PHIL system can be configured easily to simulate various kinds of motors with different loads. A Permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) and a induction motor (IM) PHIL system have been designed, constructed, and tested to verify the operating performance. Experimental results at the megawatt power level validate the feasibility and highly dynamic performance of the proposed test platform.
