摘要
Material plays a vital role in engineering application which makes a revolution in an engineering field. There is a need of best material to accommodate many applications. We subject to use Reinforced Synthetic Hybrid Composite material (Kevlar, eggshell, human hair, banana spathe) in Bulkheads and hull. Here the mechanical and thermal properties are compared with each other to find the enhanced material in Finite Element Analysis by using ANSYS software. This hybrid synthetic composite materials can enhance mechanical properties (tensile strength, impact, maintain strength) as well as resilience down cryogenic temperature and it can be used in bulkhead and hull application. We have conducted thermal conductivity tests as per ASTM standard to find thermal conductivity value of each samples then we have found out the Mechanical and Thermal Behavior of a material by Finite Element Analysis, then compared each sample to find the righteous material. From our observation, sample of Kevlar + eggshell composite had higher tensile strength. Sample of Kevlar + banana spathe had better thermal properties. This hybrid composite material behaves good in racking stress, hogging, sagging and also corrosive resistance so it is suitable in ship bulkhead for marine construction.
