摘要
In recent years, accidents such as wire breakage, tower collapse and insulator flashover have occurred occasionally due to ice coating of overhead transmission lines, causing huge economic losses to the society. In response to line trip failure caused by ice coating on the transmission line in Beijing in 2015, Beijing Power Grid conducted research on application of optical fiber sensing-based distributed ice coating monitoring technology, and installed two sets of distributed optical fiber ice coating monitoring system in January 2016, thereby achieving on-line monitoring of ice coating status of 110kV Nie Kang line, 220kV Jing Nie line, 220kV Gao Quan line and 500kV Chang Hai line. The system solved the problem of ice coating monitoring of lines in the main ice-covered areas in Beijing, and effectively monitored two ice coating phenomena on transmission lines in February and November 2016. Based on field investigation, the ice coating process, development trend and ice thickness reflected by the system were consistent with the actual ice observation and actual site survey, which verified the effectiveness and accuracy of the system operation. The distributed optical fiber ice coating monitoring system plays an active role in the ice and snow emergency work of Beijing Power Grid. It provides a strong guarantee for ensuring the safe operation of transmission lines in Beijing and improving the anti-ice capacity of the operation and maintenance units, which greatly improves ice coating monitoring level of transmission lines.
