The active methodology creates an enabling environment for the academic to have the possibility to be resolute in the face of a challenge, generating the professional profile that is in line with the general competencies of health professionals. The purpose of this project is to propose the experience of using active methodology for higher education courses in health sciences, which solidify the mechanisms involved in genetic transcription, a content of great technical importance. Through making and pasting posters, the interactive dynamic proposes the formation of DNA strands and the production of primary transcript strands and mature mRNA. Through this approach, this study is an alternative highly framed in the new pedagogical trends that places the student as an agent imbued with the construction of knowledge. In addition, it shows an excellent procedure for being able to develop competencies in the student, such as decision making, communication, commitment, autonomy and teamwork, in addition to showing the applicability of biological reasoning in future clinical and professional practice. The application of recreational mechanisms has a positive impact on learning, taking the individual out of your comfort zone at the same time as they enhance creativity and contribute to intellectual development. Structured teaching strategies like this one, make academic didactics more assertive in the student's academic development.
