Simulation of Energy Bidirectional Transmission Based on Multi-port Power Electronic Transformer Linkage Operation

Nowadays, along with the rapid development of AC/DC microgrid, the demand of distributed renewable energy reliable consumption and DC load economic energy is very large. However, traditional transformers cannot achieve energy bidirectional flow and AC/DC hybrid power supply. In order to solve this problem, this paper analyzes a novel multi-modular system structure and topology structure, which have the characteristics of multi-cascade and multi-flow.Not only constructing an average model of energy transfer of power electronic transformers, but also establishing a simulation model of the linkage operation of two power electronic transformers by using RTDS real-time simulation platform. Through simulation analysis, PET2 10kV AC port realizes from 1000 kW to 1000 kW, and PET2 10kV AC port realizes from 1000 kW to 1000 kW. PET2 10KV DC port realizes absorption from 250 kW is active to deliver 250 kW active. In the multi-port power electronic transformer linkage operation state, the voltage and power of each port are stable, and energy bidirectional transmission is realized.
