A Review of Research on Language Intervention Methods for Autistic Children at Home and Abroad.

Autism is a widespread developmental disorders. Language disorder is one of the core symptoms of autism individual, and this kind of defect has no specific drug to cure at present. Research shows that the level of language development of autistic individuals is closely related to the non-language development, maladaptive behaviors and so on. Early language intervention is of great significance for autistic children to adapt and integrate into society. This paper reviews recent studies in the field of language intervention of autistic children, and analyzes the effects of traditional intervention methods such as AAC system, "visual support", computer-assisted intervention methods such as serious games, intelligent tutors and augmented reality technology and joint attention cues on the improvement of language comprehension and expression ability of autistic individuals. In addition, by exploring the main differences in the research on language intervention in autistic children at home and abroad, we extracted the main reasons for these differences. Finally, this paper summarizes the problems existing in these researches and looks forward to the future development direction of autistic children on language intervention, so as to provide reference for the follow-up research.
