摘要
Objective: To investigate the effect of calcium polycarbophil tablets combined with compound polyethylene glycol electrolyte powder on bowel preparation. Methods: Using a randomized single-blind, prospective research method, 317 patients who underwent colonoscopy in the Affiliated Hospital of Xuzhou Medical University from May 2019 to October 2019 were randomly divided into two groups, 161 cases in the study group and 156 cases in the control group. The control group adopted compound polyethylene glycol electrolyte powder for bowel preparation, and the study group used calcium polycarbophil tablets combined with compound polyethylene glycol electrolyte powder for bowel preparation. Observe the intestinal cleanliness (Boston score), the residual amount of intestinal air bubbles and the incidence of adverse reactions to bowel preparation in the two groups. Results: The Boston bowel preparation score was significantly higher in the study group than in the control group [(6.57 +/- 1.44) vs (5.53 +/- 1.47), P=0.000]. The proportion of intestinal air bubble reaching grade I and grade II in visual field was also higher in the study group (U=2.781, P=0.005), and the incidence of adverse reactions was significantly lower in the study group (chi(2)=8.640, P=0.003).Conclusion: The use of calcium polycarbophil tablets combined with compound polyethylene glycol electrolyte powder for bowel preparation has superior effect than the use of compound polyethylene glycol electrolyte powder alone.
