Optimization Design of the Maintenance Robot with Charged Used in Substation

With the continuous development of the society, the requirements for the power supply stability of the power grid are getting higher and higher, and users have increasingly stricter requirements for power outages. It is difficult to arrange power cuts for critical lines, and the maintenance opportunities for power outage are getting less and less. The maintenance robot is used in substations with voltage levels of 220kV and below, and electrified maintenance work is carried out on pillar insulators and other equipment in substations. The robot adopts a universal mobile chassis structure. The end of the lift platform can be equipped with different live working tools to adapt to different tasks. The engineering prototype of robot is designed and optimized combined with the problems found in the machining process based on the actual situation at the substation site. It is mainly the optimization design of the drive system of the mobile chassis of the robot, especially the optimization layout of the chassis equipment. And the optimal design of the structure of insulated lifting arm and small flying arm.
