摘要
The majority of Additive Manufacturing is currently produced in plastic material. As plastic material can not remain in the body permanently, concerns of chipping and flaking within the human body often arise when plastic material is adopted for medically or clinically used surgical guide tubes. In the case where the guide is not made of a biocompatible material, it may bring about adverse impact on post-surgery recovery. This study will introduce the commonly used clinical metal material, stainless steel, Co-Cr-Mo and Ti-6Ai-4V to produce the guide tube equipment for clinical surgery through 3D printing technology. Lightweight surgical guide tube simulation and analysis will be conducted through Design of Experiment (DOE) and Response surface methodology (RSM), coupled with finite element analysis softwre ANSYS 16, in order to acquire the optimal design parameters.
