摘要
•The physical visco-hyperelastic constitutive model proposed by yuhai xiang can precisely represent static and dynamic mechanic behaviors of EPDM.•Mechanic behaviors of EPDM can be captured by using stress-strain curves of static and dynamic compression experiments to calibrate the physical visco-hyperelastic constitutive model.•An approximate physical visco-hyperelastic constitutive model for numerical calculation is developed.•Calculation efficiency and analysis accuracy of FEM model integrated with numerical algorithm of the approximate physical visco-hyperelastic constitutive model is verified.
