Module-Based Virtual Lab Design Model With Matlab/Simulink In Automation Control Theory

This paper uses Matlab/Simulink as a software tool to design virtual lab used in automation control theory. To make the virtual labs easy in the course of automation control for Sino-Italian cooperation education project, a module based virtual lab design model is proposed. Virtual lab architecture for system performance in automation control theory is designed. Performance analysis in time domain and frequency domain is conducted. Two classes of experiments included in virtual experiment architecture are introduced. Then module based virtual lab design model is introduced in practice. Case study of typical virtual labs about system performance analysis is conducted. To validate the model proposed in this paper, steady-state error analysis, steady-state error analysis of the system is designed and further conducted by specific diagrams plotted in Matlab/Simulink software.
