Research on control characteristics of three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor for electric aircraft propulsion

In the field of electric aircraft, as the main propeller, permanent magnet synchronous motor makes the power system of electric aircraft more efficient and reliable by virtue of its high efficiency, high power density, large torque density, wide speed range and other characteristics, and meets the basic requirements of the aerospace industry for the power system of electric aircraft. The key technology of the all electric aircraft is the control system of the driving motor. Because of the particularity of the aircraft working environment, the all electric aircraft requires higher performance of the driving motor. The driving motor needs to have high torque and high power density. At the same time, considering the serious consequences of high altitude flight failure, all electric aircraft drive motor needs to have high reliability and stability. In this paper, the vector control algorithm is used to study the control of the three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor as the propeller of the electric aircraft.Based on Simulink, the simulation model of the speed current double closed loop vector control system is established. Through the analysis of the simulation results, the superiority of the performance of PMSM vector control system is verified.
